Akron Bar Association?
CommunityOutreach programs such as Wills for Seniors, Ask an Attorney, and Legal Clinics are held throughout the year. These and other events are supported by Akron Bar Association members who volunteer their time and expertise.
Continuing Legal EducationThe Akron Bar Association sponsors over 200 hours of continuing legal education each year. In addition to live and video CLE seminars, we offer admissions training for the Northern District of Ohio Federal Court, New Lawyer Training, and online self-study CLE seminars.
Public ServicesOne of the primary goals of the association is to provide assistance to the public in several capacities, such as the Lawyer Referral Service, Notary Public Training & Testing, Complaint Administration & Investigation for Summit County Attorneys, Judicial Candidate Ratings, and more.
The Akron Bar Association is dedicated to improving the administration of law and justice by fostering community service, educating the Bar, improving public understanding of the law and justice system, and promoting the integrity of the profession.
